Rochester Electronics is the only fully authorised end of life supply partner for a growing number of original semiconductor manufacturers. This includes all major USA brands and an increasing range of European suppliers.
Our contractual agreements allow us to offer the following solutions for semiconductor device where they have been discontinued by the original manfuacturers.
1) Over 5 Billion finished products from our own disribution centre. All stock is received from the original component manufacturers' factory or franchised distributor with full traceability documentation.
2) Ongoing manufacture for many of our partners from a bank of die, exeeding 10 billion, in chip and wafer form that have been supplied by the original manufacturers. Rochester manufacturing is authorized by the original manufacturers and uses their assembly and testing data.
3) In many cases, the ability to manufacture parts from new wafer fab material. This includes re-fab using original tooling or, where all or part of this tooling is not available, re-creation using a "reverse engineering" solution with original manufacturer authorisation.
We are a QML company with ISO9001/2000 approval by TUV USA and our cage code number is 3V146. For manufactured product solutions Rochester works with the same packaging and die houses used by the OCM in order to reproduce the parts our customers designed into their OEM products. Form, fit and function being the key goal. Supplier principals include Intel, AMD, Analog, Texas, National, Fairchild, Infineon, Freescale and Intersil.
Final testing of all parts is the responsibilty of Rochester Electronics and takes place in a purpose built 20,000 Sq, Ft. lab at our Newburyport MASS/USA headquarters. Rochester test flows range from standard commercial through to full 883 and space levels. All parts are supplied with traceability documentation.
