Charcroft can help to mitigate the impact of component obsolescence with services such as Bills-of-Material auditing and tracing direct or close alternatives to obsolete passives. The manufacturing division continues to produce a number of passives whch were discontinued by the original manufacturer such as Oxley Silver Mica capacitors and Ashcroft VK series MLCCs. The VK devices are manufactured in case sizes which are identical to the original moulded Syfer 8123Z / 8133Z radial MLCCs, and are direct equivalents to AVX MR05 / MR06 and Mil-spec CK05/CK06 MLCCs. They also manufacture 4800 series precision resistors.
